Getting Started
Everything you need to know to get Utilities running in your server.
#Introduction
Utilities is a Discord bot for running a server that sells or supports something: ticket panels, a log of every sale, embeds and buttons you design yourself, welcome messages, voice channels people make for themselves, and lookups for Roblox and social media. This guide gets it set up and points you to every feature.
Almost every command works two ways: as a slash command, like /panel create, or typed with the prefix, like ,panel create. The default prefix is ,. /prefix set changes it for your server, and /prefix self set gives you a prefix of your own that works everywhere.
#Add Utilities to your server
Invite the bot. Use the Add to Discord button and pick your server. You need the Manage Server permission there.
Keep its role high enough. Utilities can only give out roles that sit below its own role, so drag it above the roles it should hand out.
Open the help menu. Run
/helpto see every command by category, or/helpwith a command's name to see how that one works.
/help /help panel create

#Quick start
Most servers start with tickets. One command creates a panel and opens its editor, where you name it, choose its categories and roles, and write the message people see:
/panel create support /panel send support
The Tickets page walks through the whole thing. After that, set up a welcome message and give new members a role with Autoroles.
Messages you write for the bot can use variables like {user.mention} and {guild.name}. Run /variables to see them all, or read Variables.
#Free and Premium
Every core feature is free, with limits on how many of each thing a server can keep. Premium raises those limits and adds a few features of its own. See Premium for what each tier includes.
