Help & Fun
The help menu, the bot's latency, and a few small extras.
#Overview
/help is where to start when you're not sure how something works. /ping tells you if the bot is up and how fast it's answering, and /dice and /coinflip are there for fun.
#The help menu
Run /help on its own to open the menu. It shows your server's prefix, your own prefix if you've set one, and a link to the support server. Pick a topic from the dropdown:
- Setup: a guide to setting up the basics and using the bot.
- Commands: browse every command, by category.
- Variables: every variable and what it does. See Variables.
- Premium: what Premium includes and your server's limits. See Premium.
#Help with one command
Give /help a command's name to see how that one works:
/help roblox user ,h panel create
The card shows what the command does, its aliases, its parameters, the permission it needs if there is one, and how to type it.
Typing a command with the prefix and nothing after it, like ,ticket, also shows how to use it.
#Ping
/ping answers with three lines:
- Gateway: Discord's own heartbeat to the bot, with the time it took to post the reply after it as edit.
- Rest API: how long a request to Discord takes right now.
- Uptime: how long the bot has been running since it last started.
Right after the bot starts, Gateway can read N/A for up to about 40 seconds, until Discord's first heartbeat comes back.
#Dice and coin flip
/dice rolls two six-sided dice and adds them up, like "Rolled 3 + 4 = 7!". /coinflip (or ,cf) flips a coin and lands on Heads or Tails.
/dice ,cf
#Good to know
- Anyone can use these. None of them need a permission.
- They work outside servers too.
/help,/ping,/diceand/coinflipcan be used in DMs if you add Utilities to your own account.
