Emoji

Enlarge emoji, add them to your server, rename them and clear out duplicates.

#Overview

Enlarge any emoji to see it full size and save it, look up an emoji's details, and manage your server's emoji: add them from other servers, remove them, rename them, and clear out copies of the same picture.

#Getting started

To enlarge an emoji, give it to /emoji enlarge, or type the prefix with e or emoji and the emoji:

/emoji enlarge ๐Ÿ˜€
,e
,emoji ๐Ÿ˜€

The bot posts the picture as a file with its name above it. Custom emoji come at full size, and animated ones stay animated.

#Which emoji you can give it

  • A custom emoji, as you'd type it in Discord.
  • A normal emoji, like ๐Ÿ˜€.
  • A link to an emoji image from Discord.
  • The name of one of your server's emoji, like .

#Emoji details

/emoji info shows an emoji's Name, ID, whether it's Animated, when it was Created, and a Link to the image. A normal emoji like ๐Ÿ˜€ has no ID and belongs to no server, and the card says so.

#Adding emoji

/emoji add (or ,emoji steal) adds emoji to your server. Pick custom emoji from another server in Discord's emoji picker, or paste normal emoji or emoji links. You can add up to 25 at once. A name on its own like  isn't enough here, since it doesn't say which server's emoji you mean.

,emoji add <:party:1234567890123456789> party_time

To pick a name, add it after the emoji. A name only works when you add one emoji at a time. Without one, the bot names it after the emoji. A name is 2 to 32 letters, numbers and underscores.

If Discord turns some down, the bot adds the rest and names the ones it couldn't add.

#Removing and renaming

  • /emoji remove removes one or more of your server's emoji. You can give them by name.
  • /emoji rename gives an emoji a new name.
/emoji remove :old: :older:
/emoji rename  hello

#Removing duplicates

A server can end up with the same picture uploaded twice under different names. /emoji removeduplicates reads every emoji in your server and finds the ones that are exactly the same picture.

  1. Run it. It checks every emoji, which can take a moment.

  2. Confirm. It tells you how many duplicates it found and asks you to press confirm before removing anything.

The oldest copy of each picture is kept, since that's the one people have been using. If any emoji couldn't be checked, the bot tells you how many.

#Good to know

  • Permissions. info, add, remove, rename and removeduplicates need Manage Expressions. To change your emoji, Utilities needs Manage Expressions too.
  • Enlarging is for everyone. /emoji only shows in the command list for people with Manage Expressions, but anyone can enlarge an emoji with the prefix, like ,e ๐Ÿ˜€.
  • Full server. If your server has no emoji slots left, the bot says so. Remove one, or boost for more.
  • Very new emoji. Normal emoji images come from Twemoji, so an emoji newer than it may have no picture to enlarge.
